Conference @ Leuphana Uni – “From internationalisation of higher education to transcultural science”

On Saturday, September 18th, I am making a ‘World Café’ style installation & presentation at Leuphana University Lueneburg, as part of the conference “Von der Internationalisierung der Hochschule zur Transkulturellen Wissenschaft” / “From internationalisation of higher education to transcultural science”.

My intervention will be about the Karamoja campaign in 2008-2009 and its use of transdisciplinary action-research, with the “Karamoja Syndrome” research and advocacy, documentary film making, and art interventions (Karamojadream, Caution Border), exploring what is meant by “transculturality” and advocating for a practice of transversal “artscience”.
